ROSEMONT, IL April 4, 2008 – Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. announced that Reinhart FoodService, L.L.C. an independent food distributor in its group of family-owned businesses, has signed an agreement to acquire Banta Foods, Inc. based in Springfield, Missouri. The transaction is anticipated to close on April 11, 2008.

The Banta Foods division of Reinhart FoodService will continue to be led by Chuck Banta, Division General Manager and Rick Sweet, Assistant Division Manager. Banta Foods distribution center in Springfield, Missouri will become Reinhart FoodService's 19th U.S. location.
