In November 2025, Martin Brower opened a new distribution center in Darlington, England, expanding its ability to serve approximately 200 restaurants across Northeast England. The 140,000-square-foot facility strengthens regional service capabilities and supports efficient supply chain operations, emphasizing a continued focus on reliable service, operational efficiency and long-term growth.
The facility includes on-site refueling capabilities, helping support efficient fleet operations and dependable deliveries throughout the region.
Each day, operations begin with inbound deliveries moving through receiving and into structured storage locations. The warehouse team manages inventory, selects orders and stages product for outbound routes.
Sustainability was a key consideration in the facility’s development. Constructed to meet BREEAM Excellent and Net Zero Carbon Construction standards, the site includes several features designed to reduce its environmental impact, including:
Solar panels
EV charging spaces
Dedicated recycling facilities
These features help support more sustainable day-to-day operations while contributing to Martin Brower’s broader environmental commitments.
The Darlington distribution center represents an important investment in Martin Brower’s UK network. With increased regional capacity and sustainability incorporated into its design, the facility positions the team to continue delivering consistent, reliable service to customers across Northeast England.
