On October 19, 2025, Martin Brower opened a new distribution center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — its first facility dedicated solely to serving Chick-fil-A. The site enhances service capabilities and streamlines supply chain operations for Chick-fil-A restaurants in the region, emphasizing a strategic focus on efficiency, consistent product availability and long-term growth.

Spanning 147,420 square feet, the Philadelphia distribution center was built to handle increasing customer demand and boost operational efficiency throughout our network. The facility supports approximately 100 team members and includes 28 dock doors within a single-sided layout to improve flow-through efficiency and streamline outbound processes, as well as an on-site Reyes Fleet Management maintenance shop.

Today, the distribution center serves 113 Chick-fil-A restaurants across the greater Philadelphia area. It is expected to ship approximately 4.4 million cases this year.

Sustainability remains a cornerstone of the building’s design. The facility includes:

  • Shore power available at 16 outbound dock positions

  • 38 locations equipped for powering loaded equipment

  • A highly efficient CO₂ refrigeration system

  • LED lighting throughout the entire building

Although the facility was still an active construction site at the time, the team reached a significant milestone—shipping the first case just three days after receiving TCO (Temporary Certificate of Occupancy). By the end of January, the team had completed 100 days of safe operations, demonstrating a strong safety culture from the beginning.

More than just a distribution center, the Philadelphia facility showcases Martin Brower’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and our partnership with Chick-fil-A. As operations continue to grow, the team looks forward to serving our partners from a modern facility designed to improve efficiency, enhance service and deliver long-term value.
