Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Reyes Family of Businesses participated in many ways to bring funds to breast cancer awareness and research. According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States behind skin cancers. It is about 30% (or 1 in 3) of all new female cancers each year.

In a heartwarming display of support, our business unit teams all over the country took time to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Here are just some of the events that Reyes Family of Businesses employees took part in: 

• Fundraiser walks 

• Charity 5K runs

• Preparing and delivering care packages to medical professionals

• Reyes Rodeo 'Aim for Hope' donation challenge

• Distributing pink ribbons to employees

• Sharing facts about breast cancer at our facilities

• Planning and executing fundraiser events at many of our facilities

• Wearing pink

Across the Reyes Family of Businesses, we honored, supported and remembered those who have been impacted by breast cancer throughout October.
